This document serves as a formal disclaimer between the Client (hereinafter referred to as “the Client”) and Anne’s on Safety, Fire Risk Assessor (hereinafter referred to as “the Assessor”).
By engaging the services of the Assessor, the Client acknowledges and agrees to the following terms:
1. Scope of Assessment
The fire risk assessment will be carried out based on a visual inspection of accessible areas and information provided at the time of the visit. It is not a guarantee or warranty of absolute safety but a professional opinion based on current conditions and available information.
2. Limitations
The Assessor shall not be held liable for:
• Any fire safety deficiencies concealed, inaccessible, or otherwise not reasonably identifiable at the time of the assessment.
• Subsequent changes to the premises or occupancy that may affect fire safety after the assessment is completed.
• Failure by the Client to implement recommended actions or mitigations.
3. Liability
The Assessor accepts no liability for loss, damage, or injury arising directly or indirectly from the use or misuse of the assessment report unless due to proven negligence. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Assessor harmless from any such claims.
4. Client Responsibilities
It is the Client’s responsibility to provide full and accurate information about the property, its use, and any known hazards. The Client must also ensure safe and unrestricted access during the assessment.
By proceeding with the fire risk assessment, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted the terms above.
