We are here to help you whether it’s re-evaluating your general fire precautions, or fulfilling your legal and contractual obligations. Our practice uses modern fire engineering standards following the Fire (Scotland) Act 2005,  Fire Safety (Scotland) Regulations 2006, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and The Fire Safety Act 2021.

Once you are happy to go ahead, you can book an appointment for one of our assessors to visit your property.

Access It

On the booking day, one of our friendly assessors will meet you at the premises and carry out the assessment.

Report It

Once the assessments have been done, we complete the reports in our offices and send them to you by email.

  • A fire risk report and checklist for further action

What are the legal guidelines around assessments?

  • It must be reviewed regularly. 12 month intervals following original assessment
  • If the purpose of the premises has altered substantially
  • If the fabric/structure of the premises has changed. Example if the layout has altered
  • If the nature of occupancy has changed significantly
